The pedigree for The Emmett comes from the popular FXM but as those familiar with the FXM will note that he is a completely different character. The stout .165” thick blade of CPM20CV starts at the handle in a wide 1.25” perfect for that slicing grind angle. The blade shape is a long “Bowie” style clip with a extra concave thumb rest set in the perfect spot for those hard push cuts. The clip point style front end allows for those fine cuts utilizing the nimble tip of the blade. The handle follows the style of the iconic XM-18 series of folders with its very ergonomic profile that begs this knife to be used for long periods of time. With the addition to the Emmett line we added contoured handles that fill out your grip comfortably while adding eye popping appeal. And finally finishing off the grip is perfectly situated fine thumb jimping ensuring a solid grip while using the knife in a fencing grip.
